Brett DeWall is an illustrator, author, and the mastermind behind Witty
Tales Publishing. Brett’s creative journey kicked off in the '80s, fueled
by a love for drawing and animating cartoons. This passion eventually led
him to earn a degree from the esteemed Art Center College of Design.
After working in various creative roles for companies both big and small,
Brett began creating whimsical pet portraits under the name "Pets by
Brett." This adventure sparked a new passion for children's literature,
leading to his first book, "Dogs! A Through BreedZ." Loving the world
of storytelling, Brett founded Witty Tales Publishing to craft fun and
educational books that enchant young readers and their families.

Brett lives in Colorado alongside his wife Shalyn and their playful
pup Penny. They live as hermits with occasional walks to the park.
